Homeschool
recreation—
for the love
of the game
and the great outdoors.
As homeschooling parents, we learned fairly quickly that in the world of organized sports, we were striking out on three core components: like-minded community, a weekend free schedule, and an appreciation for extra time spent in the great outdoors. Not to mention the challenge of showing up at the first practice without already having mastered said sport.
At WILD REC, we are building a sports club and recreation community focused first on the importance of play. With a co-ed and multi-age roster of kiddos, our aim is to foster teamwork, confidence, coordination, and strength of heart throughout every practice. All while nurturing lasting friendships along the way. Our program is child-driven and parent-led, and it's not just about playing baseball. We've interwoven nature references, simple physics lessons and fun teamwork exercises into each weekly meet-up to enrich our homeschoolers with a deeper understanding and appreciation for their sport and the natural world around them.

From stepping up to be the very first Wild Coach in your area, to coaching a gaggle of your own homeschool kiddos and their friends, to sponsoring a team or even simply sharing our mission in local Facebook groups: there are so many ways to get involved!
Meet the
team.
Somehow, this business was just written in the stars. Four girls who grew up in Doylestown, PA may never have crossed paths had they not married the three brothers of a certain gal. Family may have brought us together, but the friendship and the mutual tenacity for work, lifestyle and drive are all by choice. We have our entire family to thank for this support in this venture. Our parents who champion the idea, the little hands that help us daily and drive us further into pursuing this idea, our extended family for their encouragement, and most importantly to our husbands who make it all possible to see through daily.
Our team is truly made up of the whole Wild Rec family who have made us believe that this idea is truly worthy of being shared with the homeschool world. And to our coaches who show up season after season to keep this dream alive.
